Anything-But-Basic Fudge Brownies

- 19 tbsp butter
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 12-oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9" x 13" pan with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, melt the butter and stir in the cocoa.
In a second, separate small bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
In a third bowl, mix together eggs, sugar, and vanilla.
Alternately add the dry mixture and the egg mixture to the cocoa mixture. Stir until smooth but don't overwork.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Spread the batter in the prepared pan and place in the oven.
Bake for 32-35 minutes. Do not overbake. Let cool at least 10 minutes, but preferably 30-45 before cutting.
